Muttley was given two new traits for this show: It worked well, but was odd in a way, since the show seemed to have a World War I setting whereas Wacky Races was set in the present.
Winchell's facial structures were caricatured in the related character design as well. I await volumes of more celebrated shows, but it is nice to see Warner keep up the production of quality sets.
This article has multiple issues. Despite Dastardly and Muttley's attempts, the "double-dealing do-badders", as the opening narration of Wacky Races describes them, failed to win a single race.
